President Obama appears to be a man who is ruled more by politics than what is good for the people or what represents the truth.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS TO GET VOTES VERSUS BENEFIT OF THE AMERICAN WORKERS
Despite the law and his duty to execute the law, President Obama has decided on his own that 800,000 illegal immigrants who came here before age 16 "through no fault of their own" will not be deported and will be allowed to get work permits. The "not be deported" could be an issue of "we don't have the resources, but the "can apply and will get work permits" is a new law, so to speak.
The damage is to Americans where they will not get some jobs because of being replaced by illegal immigrants, who we have sympathy for, but do they deserve priority over Americans? If it damages our legal stakeholders, then it is, by definition, unethical.
President Obama's decision to not approve the Keystone Pipeline, which people on both sides agree was political, hurt the nation by giving us fewer jobs. That was unethical, with his getting a potential gain at the expense of the American people.
HEALTH CARE CHICANERY
Pushing through legislation by trickery against the will of the people and without allowing time for the people nor the legislators to actually read the bill fulfills an agenda of what the President thinks should be done, but it is not consistent with his pledge for transparency and oppenness nor is it a guarding of the will of the people and their right to be informed. Politics won, but ethics lost.
President Obama made a major speech in Tucson to have "civil language", yet he says things like the
Is refusing to address a huge, huge problem in Social Security and Medicare just to avoid political problems ethical? No, it is clearly not. The Republicans plan, Obama says, boils down to this: 'Dirtier air, dirtier water, less people with health insurance.'
Can we trust a man who allows lies to continue to be put forth in Dishonest Ads? Is that the kind of thing we want to reinforce as an American value? Even his own party called him on not telling the truth and/or misrepresenting the facts.
DOGMA ABOVE ETHICS
Is Obama a man who will twist the will of the people so that he can achieve his goals of redistribution of wealth and having government control more things so that his values can be implemented?
A BIT TECHNICAL
Obama apparently violated Illinois ethics law for personal financial gain regarding speaking fees he received while a state legislator.
Here's the law..

On Obama's 2000 Schedule C-EZ, he reported that he received $16,500 as a Foundation director/Educational speaker and on his 2002 Schedule C, Barack reported $34,491 for LEGAL SERVCES / SPEAKING FEES.
